Meet Susanne Ljungberg

We were so happy to welcome Susanne to our team at HiQ in March. Previous to her employment at HiQ, she worked as a UX Strategist at NetRelations. Parallel to this she’s been COO & Board Member at Women in Tech Gothenburg. So, without further ado, meet one of our newest stars! Susanne, with your background and relevant experience – what would you say are the key factors for empowering and inspiring women? – It starts with education, encouragement, and participation in STEM. From a business perspective, leadership and management support are crucial as well as an inclusive culture and diverse workforce on all levels in an organization. Role models and visibility are also super important to highlight opportunities within our field. Why is it so important to empower and involve women in our field? – Because equality and equity lead to innovation, resilience, creativity, profitability, growth, development to name a few of many reasons. It makes business sense, sustainability sense, and common sense. If you could give women in our field one piece of advice, what would it be? – CONFIDENCE! Dare to take up space, drive and lead change with other women, men, and nonbinary. The field doesn’t need to fix women, it needs to fix itself in collaboration with everyone involved.
